日本祭が終わって、やっといつものお稽古が戻ってきました。
一週間のお休みの後は、中級の生徒さんを対象に四ヵ伝の内、唐物風炉点前をしました
帛紗を『真』や『行』にたたむ、唐物茶入れの扱いなど、新たに覚えることがいっぱいで、皆、目を輝かせてお稽古をしていました。
新たなことを学ぶということは刺激的でわくわくすることなんだなと感じます。
After a busy Japanese Festival weekend, we finally settled down to our normal weekly practice. Following a one-week break, intermediate students practiced karamono furo demae. Even though this procedure is complicated with new fukusa folding techniques such as “shin” and “gyo” styles, everyone seemed excited about learning something new and different.
