１０月に入り、中級の生徒さんは四ケ伝の内、盆点、和布点のお稽古です。
As October begins, intermediate-level students are practicing bandate and wakendate as part of the shikaden procedure.
盆点お盆は四方盆、お盆の上に仕覆に入った唐物茶入を置き、曲水指の前に紙一重に置きます。黒の楽茶碗に茶巾、茶筅、象牙の茶杓を仕込ます。象牙の茶杓の扱いは台天目で習得しましたので、スムーズにできました。唐物のお盆、唐物の茶入れを浄めるときは袱紗は真にたたみます。拝見の前のたたみ方は行です。仕覆から脱がされた唐物茶入をお台からとったり、お台へ戻したりするときは『揉み手』をします。この所作が初めての生徒さんには馴染みがなく、皆さん戸惑われていましたが、何度も何度もするうちに自然にできるようになってきました。

When purifying the Chinese tea container and tray, the fukusa (silk cloth) is folded in the “shin”-style. The folding method before the viewing is “gyo”style.
When taking the Chinese tea container from or returning it to the tray, one performs the “momi-te” (rubbing hands) motion. This action is unfamiliar to students doing it for the first time, and they all seemed puzzled. However, with repeated practice, they have become more adept at it naturally.
