私事で、日本祭直後に日本に帰っておりましたので、一か月遅れの日本祭の打上げパーティを去る10月30日に開きました。
家族も参加で総勢20名でBBQと一品持ち寄りのお料理やデザートをいただきながら、和やかに楽しくおしゃべりに花が咲きました。
前日まで良いお天気でしたのに、当日は朝からかなり激しい雨。生徒さんのお一人が、素敵な大きなお家を開放してくださったので、雨にもぬれず暖かく日曜日の午後のひとときを過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！そして皆様、日本祭お疲れ様でした！
On October 30th, after my sudden return to Japan for a month, we finally got together to celebrate our successful tea demonstration at the Japanese Festival. About twenty people, tea ceremony members and their families, enjoyed BBQ and brought potluck dishes.
Even though it was a rainy day, one of our member kindly opened her beautiful home for the party, and we spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon talking and eating good food.
