自主練習の炉の時期に四ケ伝をお稽古していたとのことですので、風炉点前で四ヶ伝を一通りお稽古してみました。
屏風の開け閉め、拝見を出すとき、取り込むとき行の手をつく。
唐物茶入れ、天目茶碗、天目台、真塗りのお盆、中次茶入れ、元節・象牙の茶杓、それぞれの浄め方、扱い方。
茶筅通しの回数、拝見の仕方、曲水指の蓋の開け方、閉めかた。
それぞれのお道具の清め方、扱い方を習得していかなくてはなりません。
During the time of self-practice with the hearth when I was away, students practiced the “Shikaden.” So, this month we went through the Shikaden in the Furo (portable brazier) temae.
We practiced bowing with gyo hands on the floor when opening and closing the folding screen, and handling when presenting and retrieving the haiken (viewing utensils).
We also practiced handling and cleansing of the Karamonochaire (Chinese tea container Tenmoku tea bowl), Tenmoku stand, Shin-nuri tray, nakatsugi tea container, the Motobushi (end knot), and ivory tea scoop. The other things we need to learn are the number of chasen-toshi (whisk cleansing), the way of haiken, and how to open and close the lid of the mage water container.
