昨年初夏に申請していました4名の生徒さんの上級の許状が4月初旬に届きましたので炉の季節が終わる前に、と慌てて『行の行台子』，『大円の草』の炉点前のお稽古を始めました。
複雑な奥伝の点前に戸惑いながらも，今まで習得してきた四ケ伝の唐物茶入れの扱いや元節茶杓の浄め方など基本を積み重ねて、奥伝のお稽古に至ることを実感しているようです。
Last summer, I applied for advanced tea ceremony certificates for four of my students, and they arrived in early April. Eager to begin before the end of the ro (winter hearth) season, we started practicing the advanced temae of Gyō no Gyō Daizu and Daien no Sō.
As they work through these complex okuden (advanced teachings), the students are discovering how the fundamentals they have learned over the years—such as the handling of a karamono tea caddy and the purification of a Motobushi tea scoop—serve as the foundation for these higher-level practices.
