セントルイス生け花インターナショナルから、定期的に依頼を受けて実施していますお茶のデモンストレーションを4月1日、ミズーリ植物園内のケンパーセンターで行いました。
当日は朝から雷雨が激しい大変なお天気でしたが、デモンストレーションが始まる頃には雨も止んで、25名の参加を得て、無事イベントを終えることが出来ました。
当日の為に作った桜の練り切りも大好評で、一服のお抹茶と共に皆様に味わっていただきました。
We regularly present tea demonstrations at the invitation of the Ikebana International St. Louis Chapter, and on April 1 we held one at the Kemper Center for Home Gardening in the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Although the day began with heavy thunderstorms and difficult weather, the rain let up by the time the demonstration began. We welcomed 25 participants and were able to conclude the event successfully.
The cherry blossom–inspired nerikiri sweets prepared especially for the occasion were very well received, and guests enjoyed them along with a serving of matcha.
