In mid-March, five of us held a self-practice session.
Each of us practiced while reviewing the procedures for the temae we wanted to study—Kinin Usucha Temae, Karamono, and Koicha Temae.
This will likely be the final self-practice session of this season.

Below is a scene from a weekend practice session in February at another member’s home, where six of us practiced usucha and koicha. Each of us approached the temae after some time away, saying things like, “How was this done again…?” or “Oh, I remembered more than I thought,” creating a warm atmosphere.
At times we think we have forgotten the procedure, yet our hands begin to move on their own, surprising even ourselves. It reminded us of the importance of repeated practice.
