日本滞在中の宗純先生からの京都便りです。
1月吉日、大阪の支部所属、川岸宗愛先生の社中の初釜に参席させていただきました。 大阪四貫島にあります茶懐石料理店の『祥月』での初釜でした。 本格的茶懐石と美味しい吟味された日本酒をいただいた後、待合に移り四畳半でのお茶室に席入りして、花びら餅とお濃茶続いて、お干菓子とお薄をいただきました。 ここ祥月は貴重な数々のお道具を揃えており、目の保養もさせていただきました。 穏やかなお天気にも恵まれ、良い時を過ごすことができました。
On a lovely day in January, I had the pleasure of attending the hatsugama hosted by the group of Soai Kawagishi sensei of the Osaka branch.
It was held at “Shogetsu,” a tea kaiseki restaurant in Shikanjima, Osaka.
After enjoying a full tea kaiseki meal and some carefully selected, delicious sake, we moved to the waiting area and then entered the four-and-a-half tatami tea room. There, we were served hanabiramochi and koicha (thick tea), followed by higashi (dry sweets) and usucha (thin tea).
Shogetsu has a wonderful collection of precious tea utensils, which were a real pleasure to see.
With the calm, beautiful weather, we were able to spend a very pleasant and memorable time.
